Daisy Stool & Sunny Table

Daisy Stool and Sunny Table by PDM Brand transform the familiar furniture of Thai street-food stalls into a pair of flower-shaped objects.

Sunny is a table with a daisy-shaped top, while Daisy Stool translates the same floral language into a compact seat that can also function as a side table. Both pieces retain the practical qualities of their references, with forms designed to be easily moved, opened, folded and adapted to different situations.

The flower is not simply applied as a decorative motif. It becomes the defining geometry of both objects, giving a familiar typology a more distinctive presence while keeping their construction straightforward. The rounded outlines soften the utilitarian character of the original furniture and introduce a playful rhythm when several pieces are placed together.

Open or folded, Sunny becomes a spatial element in its own right, introducing colour and an informal character to everyday settings. Its generous circular top creates a natural point around which people can gather for dining, working or conversation, while Daisy Stool can be used alongside it or independently as a seat, side table or small accent within a space.

Placed indoors, outdoors or among planting, the two pieces can shift easily between uses and environments. Their bright, recognizable forms bring something of the atmosphere of street furniture into contemporary spaces, while remaining familiar enough to feel intuitive in everyday use.
