‍Depending on how you interact with Atlas Garden, we may process yourname, email address, professional contact details and other information youprovide when contacting us or submitting a project. We may also process limited technical information necessary to operate and secure the Website. We do not sell or rent personal data.

‍We use personal data to operate the Website, respond to enquiries,receive and review project submissions, communicate with contributors andrights holders, maintain Website security and functionality, comply with legal obligations and protect our legal rights. We process personal data where necessary to respond to your requests ormanage a relationship with you, where we have a legitimate interest inoperating and protecting Atlas Garden, where you have given consent, or where processing is required by law. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent atany time.

‍4. Project Submissions and Forms
‍When you submit a project through Atlas Garden, we process the information provided to review the submission, communicate with you and, where applicable, prepare and publish the project. Our submission and other online forms are provided through Tally. Tally states that form data is encrypted in transit and at rest and that it does not use cookie tracking on its forms. The intellectual property rights and permissions relating to submitted materials are governed by our Submission Terms.

‍5. Cookies and Website Technologies
‍Atlas Garden uses technologies necessary to operate, secure and maintain the Website.The Website is built and hosted using Webflow. Webflow states that it does not add tracking or analytics cookies to customer websites by default. Additional cookies or tracking technologies may be introduced through third-party services or integrations. Atlas Garden does not currently use a dedicated analytics service. If we introduce non-essential cookies or tracking technologies that require consent, we will update this Policy and obtain the required consent before using them.

6. Maps
Atlas Garden uses MapLibre to display interactive maps and OpenFreeMapas a map data service. OpenFreeMap states that it does not use cookies or tracking technologies and does not normally store IP addresses in its server logs.

‍Atlas Garden currently uses Webflow for the Website, Tally for forms,and MapLibre and OpenFreeMap for maps. Third-party providers may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies. Where personal data is processed on our behalf, AtlasGarden will take appropriate measures to ensure that the processing complies with applicable data protection law.

‍We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless a longer period is required by law. Project submissions and related correspondence may be retained for aslong as reasonably necessary to manage the editorial relationship, maintain appropriate records and protect our legal interests.
